Pets are a core +1 Assassin Leveling system. The official Roblox description confirms that you hatch pets for powerful boosts, while current gameplay coverage shows pet access near the opening route and eggs appearing through progression rewards. The useful question is not simply how many pets you own; it is which verified pets you can obtain now, what boost their live card shows, and which combination fits your available equip slots.
Choose the right pet page
Pet List
Use the currently documented Pet Dex to compare names, observed sources, boost types, evidence status, and the date each entry was checked.
Pet Hatching
Follow the shop and quest-egg routes reported in current play, then troubleshoot affordability, duplicate results, and missing claims.
Best Pets
Rank your own inventory by displayed effect, current activity, and equip limits without relying on an unsupported universal tier list.
The three pages serve different decisions. The list answers “what is currently documented?” Hatching answers “where do I get a pet?” Best Pets answers “which of my verified choices should I equip?” Keeping those jobs separate prevents a partial hatch sample from becoming a fake complete ranking.
Pet progression in the main loop
Finish the tutorial and identify the pet display or shop shown in your current server. Community-recorded fresh runs report that a first shop option appears very early and that combat rewards make it reachable soon after the opening waves. Because the currency label and prices can change, use the value displayed in your server rather than treating an old recording as a permanent price list.
Hatch or obtain one pet, open its information card, and read the exact boost before equipping. A pet can be useful even if it is common when its effect directly speeds your current training or helps you survive a boss. Continue fighting and claiming quests, because current walkthroughs also show eggs appearing through quest rewards.
As the inventory grows, replace pets by measured value. Compare a candidate with the weakest equipped pet, not with the strongest pet you have ever seen in a video. If equip slots are limited, every slot should have a clear job. If storage is tight, keep pets with verified useful effects before duplicates whose only difference is appearance.
Currently documented Pet Dex boundary
The complete pet roster, egg list, rarities, hatch probabilities, world assignments, and boost multipliers are not published by the developer. Current community material directly names a Frog from repeated early shop purchases and a Rice Ball from a quest egg in one recorded run. The Rice Ball was reported with a 5% health boost. These are documented examples, not proof of a complete pool or a fixed rate.
Frog
Repeatedly appeared from the opening shop option in one current run. Boost type, rarity, and probability still need a clear live card.
Rice Ball
Hatched from a quest egg in one current run and was shown with a 5% health boost. The egg pool and repeatability are not confirmed.
A proper entry needs the exact displayed name, egg or source, area, rarity if named by the game, boost type, boost value, equip value, hatch probability if officially shown, checked date, and evidence status. Unknown fields remain empty. Do not infer rarity from color or calculate a probability from a handful of pulls.
How to compare pets without a complete tier list
Start with the activity you are doing. For click training, prefer a pet whose live effect clearly improves Strength or the relevant gain. For a boss you cannot survive, a verified health effect can matter more than a small training bonus. For farming repeated drops, luck may matter only if the game explicitly connects that pet effect to the drop system.
Then compare effective value per slot. A pet with a smaller headline number can still be useful if it affects the exact bottleneck. If the game allows more pet equips through progression or a pass, adding a slot can be valuable only when you already own another pet worth equipping. A slot with no useful pet provides no immediate gain.
Finally, account for replacement cost. Do not spend every resource chasing a rare-looking pet when the next dagger, rebirth, or combat gate would improve the whole loop more reliably. Hatching is one progression layer, not the only layer.
Training loadout
Prioritize a clearly displayed Strength or gain effect, then compare the actual value added by one click under the same conditions.
Boss loadout
Use damage for shorter fights or health for survival when the pet card and before-and-after values support that choice.
Collection loadout
Use luck only when the game states what it affects. A generic luck label does not prove better pets, equipment, or every drop type.
Equip slots, storage, and paid options
The official game-pass catalog currently lists +1 pet equip, +2 pet equip, +20 pet storage, and +120 pet storage. Those names and current sale records are official Store data, but the catalog descriptions are blank. Confirm in the live purchase prompt whether the benefits are permanent, how they combine, and whether the account already owns an equivalent upgrade.
An extra equip slot increases power only if another useful pet can occupy it. Storage upgrades mainly reduce inventory pressure; they do not state that a stored pet contributes its boost. Never assume the numerical title means the pass stacks in a particular way until the purchase screen explains it.
Use the Gamepasses Guide for the official IDs and price snapshot, and keep pet mechanics here. Separating Store existence from in-game effect prevents a blank Store description from becoming a made-up promise.
Hatching and inventory routine
- Check the current source and currency before spending.
- Record the inventory count so you know whether a hatch arrived.
- Hatch one result and open its card immediately.
- Compare the new boost with the weakest equipped pet.
- Equip only when the live effect improves the current task.
- Claim completed quests and inspect any egg reward before starting another paid hatch.
- Stop when the next hatch cost would delay a more important dagger, gate, or rebirth plan.
Repeated results are normal in a random system. A duplicate Frog in one recorded run does not establish the pool odds. Keep duplicates only when the game allows both to contribute or when you need them for a clearly displayed future system; fusion, shiny, pity, trading, and evolution mechanics are not currently verified for this experience.
Common pet mistakes
- Treating two observed pets as the full list.
- Publishing hatch percentages that the game does not display.
- Calling a pet “best” without naming the stat, activity, and equip limit.
- Assuming every quest gives an egg because one quest did.
- Buying storage when the real problem is weak equipped pets.
- Buying another equip slot before owning another useful pet.
- Confusing a health boost with faster Strength training.
- Assuming a paid luck pass changes pet odds when the Store description is empty.
Pet questions
How do I get my first pet?
Current gameplay coverage reports an early pet shop after the tutorial and quest eggs from completed claims. Follow the live prompts and price label in your server. The official description independently confirms that hatching is a core system.
What is the best pet?
There is no supported universal answer yet. Choose from your inventory by the displayed boost, your current activity, and your equip slots. A training pet and a boss-survival pet can be “best” for different jobs.
Are hatch rates known?
No complete official rate table is available. Use rates only when the live egg panel displays them, and record the server version and check date.
Do stored pets give boosts?
That behavior is not established by the public material. Compare your visible stats with a pet equipped and unequipped; do not assume inventory ownership equals an active effect.
Sources and confidence
Pet hatching and boosts are Official from the Roblox experience description. Frog, Rice Ball, early shop access, quest eggs, and the reported health effect are Community reported from a current same-game recorded run. Pet equip and storage pass names, IDs, on-sale state, and price snapshots come from the official Roblox game-passes API, checked October 9, 2026.
